Episode 595: 1 Corinthians 15 Part 3 What Does It Mean to “Receive”?

We are taking a deep dive into 1 Corinthians 15:1 and 2 to see what Paul says about the gospel of Jesus and how it changes our lives. What we are seeing with some of the Corinthians is that the gospel hasn’t really made a difference in their lives and they continue to live in sin. Paul has warned them on multiple occasions to quit the sin and get in right relationship with Jesus and with those in the church, but they continue to discredit Paul, his authority, his apostleship, and his message because if they can discredit him, it makes them feel as though they can defend their sinful actions instead of repenting and allowing Jesus and the gospel to change them.
