<description>Let's face it...life sometimes is hard and can just suck. When we are faced with life's challenges we can be discouraged, get tired, and become weary. What we need is motivation, encouragement, and a helping hand that keeps us going. That's the idea of GRINDIT! We find our strength to endure when we focus on Jesus. God's own Son wasn't exempt from life's challenges and He didn't do anything to deserve what he went through! And yet He did...willingly, therefore we find our hope in Him.

<description>Jesus was accused by the religious leaders of being possessed by Satan. Jesus was hot and he was hurt by their accusations and he let them know it by telling them that all sin and blasphemy will be forgiven but there is one sin that will NOT be forgiven…blaspheming the Holy Spirit. If blaspheming the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, then we better know what it is so we don’t do it! We discuss it in today’s podcast.

<description>The religious leaders have gotten there way. Jesus has been handed over to the Roman authorities, beaten beyond recognition, led to Golgotha, and is crucified on a cross. Can you imagine the hundreds, maybe thousands, who came by to see the one who claimed to be the Messiah and to see what was going to happen to him as he hung on the cross. They never realized he was doing that for them…and us! Many simply thought he was a stranger who was a blasphemer and could do cool magic tricks. They had a misconception about the Messiah and his mission so they rejected the very one who came from heaven and put on flesh! Jesus was dead and Joseph of Arimathea came and took his body down from the cross and placed him in his own tomb. In the words of Roxette, It’s over now…so they thought!

<itunes:subtitle>Blaspheming the Holy Spirit which is an automatic ticket to hell. What does it mean to blaspheme the Holy Spirit? </itunes:subtitle>

<description>Jesus heals a man who couldn’t hear nor speak. The people who saw this happen was amazed and they started to ask the question, “Could this man be the Messiah?” The simple answer is “Yes” but was it so simple? There are many who reject Jesus to this day so what’s the difference? You may say, “Well they had Jesus walking around with them so they should have known,” but it’s not that easy. They had preconceived ideas of who and what the Messiah would be and Jesus didn’t fit the bill. So the Pharisees used any opportunity they could to reject Jesus and this time they accuse him of working miracles by the power of Satan. Jesus tells them straight up that a kingdom divided cannot stand and if he is working miracles by the power of the Holy Spirit, then the kingdom of God has come. Then he warns them of blaspheming the Holy Spirit which is an automatic ticket to hell. What does it mean to blaspheme the Holy Spirit? Listen to find out!
