When we are faced with life's challenges we can be discouraged, get tired, and become weary. What we need is motivation, encouragement, and a helping hand that keeps us going. That's the idea of GRINDIT! We find our strength to endure when we focus on Jesus. God's own Son wasn't exempt from life's challenges and He didn't do anything to deserve what he went through! Salvation is a gift from God, Right? When we receive a gift from someone, we have to do something...we have to receive that gift! James says if we aren’t doing something with our faith, if that faith isn’t producing actions in us and through us, then our faith is dead and useless. We throw away useless things. We bury dead things. The love Jesus has for us should be enough to allow good deeds to flow from us naturally. Do people see your good deeds? He says just as Jonah was in the fish's belly for three days, the Son of Man will be in the heart of the earth for three days. He was talking about his death, burial, and resurrection but they didn't understand that. Jesus tells them they have someone greater than Jonah but they refuse to repent and they have someone wiser than Solomon but they refuse to listen.
