When we are faced with life's challenges we can be discouraged, get tired, and become weary. What we need is motivation, encouragement, and a helping hand that keeps us going. That's the idea of GRINDIT! We find our strength to endure when we focus on Jesus. God's own Son wasn't exempt from life's challenges and He didn't do anything to deserve what he went through! He always has crowds around him and they all seem to want a miracle from him. He never disappoints so they would go back home talking about what Jesus had done for them. The Pharisees are fed up with this guy and they won’t to put an end to his ministry so they find out where he is, they travel there, they find Jesus, and they are ready to pounce with their question so they can accuse him and disclaim that he is the Messiah. They really think they have him this time! What’s their accusation? Jesus’ disciples don’t ceremonially wash their hands before they eat and this goes against their tradition! Bro…this is what you come at Jesus with? Washing hands before supper? Saul, the persecutor of Jesus followers, has been sent to a man's house where he is to stay until a man named Ananias comes to visit him. Meanwhile, Jesus is having a conversation with Ananias and telling him he is to go lay hands on Saul. Naturally, as we all would be, Ananias is freaked out by what Jesus has commanded him to do; however, he is obedient. Because of his obedience, Saul receives his sight, is baptized into Christ, becomes an instant witness for Jesus, and eventually writes two thirds of the New Testament! Imagine what God could do through you and me if we would put our fear aside and be obedient to His will! Then, He would use the people we witness to in mighty ways as well, just like He did with Saul!
