<description>Let's face it...life sometimes is hard and can just suck. When we are faced with life's challenges we can be discouraged, get tired, and become weary. What we need is motivation, encouragement, and a helping hand that keeps us going. That's the idea of GRINDIT! We find our strength to endure when we focus on Jesus. God's own Son wasn't exempt from life's challenges and He didn't do anything to deserve what he went through! And yet He did...willingly, therefore we find our hope in Him.

<description>In this episode we talk about Predestination and what that exactly means but what is more important than Predestination is what Paul said before he gives us the idea: All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ. I don’t think we have a clue of what it means to be in Christ and what blessings we have because of Jesus. It is absolutely mind blowing and what is incredible is that God did it even while we continue to reject Him! His love for us is absolutely amazing! We have everything we could possibly need and more in Jesus so why do we continue to reject him? Why would you not want salvation, healing, earthly blessings, and spiritual blessings that are in heavenly places?

<description>Paul tells the Jews in Rome they are not in good standing with God just because they were born into a Jewish family and have cut their skin on their private part because of some covenant God made with Abraham. He tells them they may know the law well but if they don’t practice it, then it’s not doing them any good. In fact, Paul says the way to know if we are in good standing with God and have a relationship with Him is a changed heart! A changed heart can only come from God’s Holy Spirit! How do I know if I have a changed heart? Paul tells us: If we seek praise from people, then we don’t have a changed heart but if we seek praise from God, our hearts are changed…
