When we are faced with life's challenges we can be discouraged, get tired, and become weary. What we need is motivation, encouragement, and a helping hand that keeps us going. That's the idea of GRINDIT! We find our strength to endure when we focus on Jesus. God's own Son wasn't exempt from life's challenges and He didn't do anything to deserve what he went through! He says, “God’s will is for you to be holy...” Wow! Just be holy and you are doing God’s will but what does that mean? We talk about it in today’s podcast as well as the next two. God knows what it’s like to lose a son, he knows what it’s like to watch a family member go through so much pain, he knows what it’s like to watch a child be bullied, beaten, and killed. God knows what we deal with on a daily basis and he can help because he has been through it, he has experience, he is full of wisdom, and James says God will give it liberally if we ask...AND not waver, or doubt. He didn't get the answer he was looking for! 34:28 no <p>A man came to Jesus and asked, “What good deed do I have to do to inherit eternal life” He came to the right person and asked the right question. But when he got the answer to his question, he gave the wrong response! He was all excited because he thought he was in for sure but Jesus knew the man’s heart and how he loved his stuff so he tells the young man to go and sell all his possessions and give the money to the poor. He walked away sad but what is sad is he walked away without committing to the only one who could save him! Don’t make the same mistake! God wants our hearts and He will not take a backseat to anything or anybody! I can say I'm 6 feet tall all I want and believe it to be true but the truth is...I'm 5'7! The truth never changes and it can be supported with facts and evidence.
