<description>Let's face it...life sometimes is hard and can just suck. When we are faced with life's challenges we can be discouraged, get tired, and become weary. What we need is motivation, encouragement, and a helping hand that keeps us going. That's the idea of GRINDIT! We find our strength to endure when we focus on Jesus. God's own Son wasn't exempt from life's challenges and He didn't do anything to deserve what he went through! And yet He did...willingly, therefore we find our hope in Him.

<itunes:subtitle>Jesus set us free...but from what? The law? Ourselves? Sin? What has us in bondage?</itunes:subtitle>

<description>Paul says to the church at Galatia, “So Christ has truly set us free.” What did Jesus set us free from? What put us in bondage to begin with? And the answer to that question is found in Paul’s letter to them, “The Law,” and in particular, they have listened to false teachers and have been convinced they, as Gentiles, need to be circumcised and follow the law. Paul makes it clear, if they follow the law, Christ is no effect to them, and they have been cut off from Christ. If you’re cut off from something, you have been removed and there is a separation. It goes back to the Garden of Eden, when man chose to sin, they were separated from God, and man has tried to reconcile that relationship ever since but everything we do is not good enough. It can only happen in Jesus!

<description>God had a plan in place long before He created anything. That plan was to use His Son, Jesus, as a sacrifice to redeem fallen man—to reconcile us back to Him. He foreknew man would choose to sin and separate from Him, yet because of His great love for us, He took care of it by sending His Son to die on a cross, be buried for three days, and resurrected becoming victorious over death and the grave. He has sent an invitation to you to be a part of His plan...are you going to accept it? It’s way more deeper than fire insurance—we are given the Same Spirit, with the same power that raised Jesus from the dead! So if you are a part of God’s plan, why then do we act so helpless, so powerless? Recognize who you are in Christ and live like a child of the victorious Savior today!

<description>What a powerful chapter! What a powerful letter Paul has written to the church at Rome and God has blessed us with preserving the words he penned! In this podcast we learn that Jesus has made us friends again with God, that he has reconciled our relationship with the Father by shedding his blood for us, not because we are so good, not because we deserve it, not because we have our lives in order, no, but while we were enemies, while we were sinners! God has given us everything we need for salvation in his Son, Jesus! All we have to do is put our faith and trust in Jesus and we get to enjoy the blessings of heaven! We blew it in the Garden of Eden but God restored our relationship through Jesus and because of his sacrifice, we are made friends again with God! Hallelujah!!!
