When we are faced with life's challenges we can be discouraged, get tired, and become weary. What we need is motivation, encouragement, and a helping hand that keeps us going. That's the idea of GRINDIT! We find our strength to endure when we focus on Jesus. God's own Son wasn't exempt from life's challenges and He didn't do anything to deserve what he went through! He tries to discourage us with many things so our focus will get off God and on to whatever troubles us. Then temptations come and, if we give, brings separation, like Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. That is why it is crucial that we are in the word every day and that we are praying many times a day! No matter the social scale or our bank account, troubles, trials, testing’s, and temptations will come. Not only will they come, but death will come at some point too and the only thing that will matter when we take our last breath is: Did I know Jesus as my Lord and Savior? In this episode we take a look at making homemade bread. I've never made it before so I borrowed a recipe from a website that has. One of the main ingredients to make bread is yeast. Without the yeast, the loaf won't be a loaf...it will be flat like a pancake, or maybe a tortilla! Jesus says the kingdom of God is like a little bit of yeast that was added to a big lump of dough. That little bit of yeast took over that dough and caused it to rise. Just like that yeast, when Jesus comes into our lives he makes a huge impact; he changes everything about us.
