<description>Let's face it...life sometimes is hard and can just suck. When we are faced with life's challenges we can be discouraged, get tired, and become weary. What we need is motivation, encouragement, and a helping hand that keeps us going. That's the idea of GRINDIT! We find our strength to endure when we focus on Jesus. God's own Son wasn't exempt from life's challenges and He didn't do anything to deserve what he went through! And yet He did...willingly, therefore we find our hope in Him.

<description>The author of Hebrews is trying to encourage his Jewish readers to stick with Jesus because they are discouraged from being persecuted and some have already chosen to go back to Judaism, an obsolete religion, because Jesus established a new and better covenant by laying down his life as a once and for all sacrifice. He started chapter 11 off by talking about what faith is and, being a Jewish audience for his letter, he is going to go back into their past, their heritage, and show them many examples of people who lived and walked by faith in hopes that his readers would find some encouragement and be strengthened in their walk with Christ. The very first example he gies may surprise you because he mentions us!
