When we are faced with life's challenges we can be discouraged, get tired, and become weary. What we need is motivation, encouragement, and a helping hand that keeps us going. That's the idea of GRINDIT! We find our strength to endure when we focus on Jesus. God's own Son wasn't exempt from life's challenges and He didn't do anything to deserve what he went through! At the beginning of chapter 6, Paul discusses the church taking one another to court and suing one another which makes me think the dad has taken his son to court in order to get him separated from his wife. They way this chapter reads is many of the believers at Corinth were taking one another to court and Paul’s response to them is, “What are you doing? We are guilty of sin and the penalty is death, separated from God and if we die in that condition, we will be separated from Him for eternity! But we don’t have to be because God has provided everything we need to be saved, to be forgiven of our sin that separates us from Him. He put on flesh, walked this earth for 33 years, lived among us, was tempted in every way we are, and he never gave in to any temptation. Instead, he willingly gave his life as a sacrifice for our sin on a cross and he has satisfied the payment that was required for you and me to make it into heaven! Paul says if we belong to Jesus, then there is no more condemnation. Our penalty has been paid and we are set free.
