When we are faced with life's challenges we can be discouraged, get tired, and become weary. What we need is motivation, encouragement, and a helping hand that keeps us going. That's the idea of GRINDIT! We find our strength to endure when we focus on Jesus. God's own Son wasn't exempt from life's challenges and He didn't do anything to deserve what he went through! The Holy Spirit used people to persuade Paul not to go but he was fixed on his plan to go to Jerusalem and he said he was ready to die for Jesus if that is what was going to happen. Well, he was in Jerusalem for less than a week when someone spotted him, stirred up a mob, and they would have beaten him to death if the Roman army hadn't showed up! Why didn't Paul listen? He could have been used in even more greater ways for the kingdom of God! We are selfish people and many of us are set in our ways. We think we know what is best for us and we won't let anyone change our minds...not even God. Be careful what you wish for...
