When we are faced with life's challenges we can be discouraged, get tired, and become weary. What we need is motivation, encouragement, and a helping hand that keeps us going. That's the idea of GRINDIT! We find our strength to endure when we focus on Jesus. God's own Son wasn't exempt from life's challenges and He didn't do anything to deserve what he went through! And yet He did...willingly, therefore we find our hope in Him. en-us episodic We at GRINDIT want to encourage people to keep going, to keep grinding, when life gets hard. Quitting is not an option! My own daughter who is in high school has told me how people would say to her they would pray for her but she knew they wouldn’t, that they were just being nice. Epaphras was a prayer warrior, he was an intercessor on behalf of the church at Colosse as well as other churches. Paul says he literally wrestled with the enemy when he prayed. I want someone like that praying on my behalf! That’s how we should be as the body of Christ! Because we have a choice: we can choose to continue to live for God and what He desires, drawing near to Him, or we can choose to give into fleshly desires, give into temptation that separates us from God. It takes humility and self-discipline to follow God and to do what He desires for us and far too often, we fall short and allow temptation to win out and we give into sin that separates us from God. It’s a daily struggle and the struggle is real. Paul even wrestled with it claiming he was the chief of all sinners. But we have help because God has given us His Spirit as a helper and He promises us that He will not allow us to be tempted beyond what we can handle and He also promises a way of escape.
