We continue the thoughts from Part 1 and take a look at James 1:19-26. James just lays it all out there and says, "This is what you ought to be doing as a Christ follower and if you're not, then you may want to rethink your faith!"
*Be slow to get angry
*Get rid of all the filth and evil in your lives
*Don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says
*Control your tongue
*Care for orphans and widows in their distress
*Refuse to let the world corrupt you
As we all know this isn't an easy task but we must strive to allow the Holy Spirit to shape ad mold us into the image of Jesus. Remember...we are His examples to a lost world and we are the light that shines in the darkness!
